In order to ensure the smooth and successful running of the event and maximise the exposure for BCA, corporate support is essential. Such assistance may take the form of monetary donations and/or the provision of equipment, consumables or services that aid the riders’ progress. In recognition of their generosity, sponsors will have the opportunity to benefit from public exposure for the duration of the event through the cycle challenge website, logo advertising on riders’ and fundraisers’ clothing and support vehicles. The ECCC organisers are also extremely open to other sponsorship ideas and strategies.
The ECCC is expected to receive extensive daily coverage in local and national print, radio and televisual media. The use of riders’ and fundraisers’ images in photographs, video footage etc in marketing campaigns following the event is conditionally supported following consultation with the ride organisers.
